Napoleon Rules
No, not Bonaparte, Hill! Napoleon Hill is.
Napoleon Hill is most famous for his book "Think and Grow Rich", which is one of the successful books of all time.
It was really an investigative journalist who died in 1970 at age 87. It is also the father of all personal success literature.
What is significant about Mr. Hill (except that there are dirt-poor) is that he was little more than a writer for a local newspaper that struck Virginia newspaper the idea of finding the formula for success … … … … success in anything. How? He met with the highest number of successful people as he could and took the essence of what we all said that their findings and in his short book. Who did the interview? Here are some of them:
Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Henry Ford, John D. Rockefeller, Charles Schwab, FW Woolworth, William Wrigley, and some Presidents too.
So, do you believe that after 20 years of talking to these people who knew what he was talking about? Yes, damn right he did.
all these men were geniuses? No, they (especially the chairs).
Do I need to be a genius to start and run a successful business? Of course not! There have been some real geniuses in the world (Leonardo DaVinci, Galileo, Isaac Newton, Benjamin Franklin, etc.) and many of them never achieved financial success, although some did. But there are thousands of ordinary people who have made AVERAGE financial successes of themselves.
There is a famous battle between two of my heroes, one of which was a true genius and the other was a great businessman. You can decide to have that. Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla fought for many years by two different systems of distribution of electricity throughout the world.
Can you guess who won the battle?
of Nikola Tesla, that's who! Tesla won power - the distribution of the battle. It is responsible for the AC voltage, unlike Thomas Edison of the DC voltage that is ideal for small applications such as electric cars or toys, but it is useless for long-distance applications such as lighting and power of a city or a country . But suppose
died broke? same type, Nikola Tesla. You see, although it was certainly a genius REAL, which do not have much idea about money. He gave up many of his royalties owed the company Westinghouse, not to go out of business. It was amazing success as an inventor and engineer, but the idea was totally wrong about the money. The money was a means to an end for him, it's a good thing, but he simply did not realize I had to manage their money. In fact, you can not manage your success!
Thomas Edison, by contrast, was an incredibly good businessman. He invented and produced products that people wanted the benefits, but did not through-vision genius (like Tesla), but through hard work and lots of trial and error (LOTS of mistakes, but NEVER TRYING EXIT). He then took the products to the market with money from other people, like any large business would.
So, back to Napleon Mr. Hill. What did Napoleon Hill collect all the successful people he spent 20 years interviewing? The person who really Napoleon Hill gave the commission to interview these people were successful Andrew Carnegie (not to be confused with Dale Carnegie, who was not related to Andrew) and also was the first interviewee Hill. Hill's payment of 20 years doing this study?
Nothing! Huh? ANYTHING? Yes, there is no money, but he would be interviewed by introductions to Andrew Carnegie (one of the most powerful and wealthy men in the world at that time, and the man responsible for today's public libraries). Hill will also be allowed to use any and all material received for writing his book. That was enough to pay for it, and still earn money Hill Estate today on the basis of the royalties for the book he published in 1937!
So what exactly were Napoleon rules, standards for success? Here are some of them:
1. Definiteness of purpose - Knowing what you want.
2. Brain - to be with like-minded people who want success, a group of brain.
3. Attractive personality - People are drawn to strong, confident people.
4. Applied Faith - Believe in what is going to achieve.
5. Excellence - Give more than what is expected of you.
6. Persistence - Never quit (as Thomas Edison).
7. Self - Control yourself, do not let the control of others.
8. Learning - Learn from the defeat and failure and move forward towards its goal.
9. Focus - When you're doing something, do it with all of your attention.
10. Habit - Get into a good daily habits, which naturally you bad habits.
There are other (read the book of the hill!), but these are some of the major ones. Try to understand that while you have thousands (millions actually) of choices in your life, there are only two main options. You can let life happen to you, or you can make a life for yourself.
The difference between the two is enormous, but do not make much difference, only small choices every hour of every day. Will you write the additional article to promote your website. Is it going to work overtime. Are you going to eat that extra piece of cake. That runs beyond. Smoked a cigarette every day … … … and so on.
Nobody has control over his life unless you give them CONTROL! Napoleon
Follow the rules and control their own lives. The alternative is unthinkable, and certainly not something that any sane person want for their lives.
